Carlie and Daniel’s February wedding at Mt. Washington Mill Dye House in Baltimore defied the expectations for a typical winter celebration. As avid outdoors enthusiasts and passionate hikers, Carlie and Daniel wove their love for nature into the fabric of the celebration, including Carlie’s snow white Marc Fisher boots and beautiful fur stoles that she and her bridesmaids donned for photos. Using the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House’s industrial charm as a backdrop, Lemon & Lime Event Design and Steel Cut Flower Co. transformed the space into an elegant haven, with delicate cherry blossoms cascading across the ceiling.
The color scheme embraced the beauty of nature, employing warm earthy tones, lush greenery, and subtle bursts of vibrant hues to create a palette that felt both invigorating and unconventional for the season. Carlie and Daniel aimed to infuse their wedding with an inviting and romantic ambiance. This vision was brought to life through a symphony of lighting elements, carefully curated to enhance every corner of the space, and abundant floral arrangements that hinted at the impending spring. And, of course, guests took home Carlie and Daniel’s personalized trail mix as a memento of the occasion.
