Erin and Ross tied the knot in September in verdant Stowe, Vermont, and it was a weekend to remember! Not only are Erin and Ross an incredible, artsy pair, but they are also fun, kind, and two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. For an artsy couple with a bit of an old soul, the Stowehof Inn could not have provided a more perfect backdrop for Erin and Ross’s uniquely beautiful celebration. Inspired by mid-1900 Austrian poster art and the Stowehof’s unique character, Erin chose a color palette rich in greens, reds, blues, yellows, and browns. Turquoise mixed with just about anything is bound to be eye-catching, but colorful, bold and romantic too? Needless to say, I was in photographer heaven! Nectar and Root helped bring Erin and Ross’s vision to life, combining dahlias, amaranth, eucalyptus, and grasses in berry tones of plum, burgundy, and raspberry, with splashes of orange and mustard to strike the perfect balance of bold yet refined. A handmade floral hair comb and silk ribbons added extra whimsy to Erin’s already dreamy gown ensemble, and a rust-colored ranunculus accented Ross’s dapper custom-made tux. As the magical night drew to a close, Erin donned a vintage beaded dress just in time for her and Ross to waltz through an alley of what can only be described as the most glorious sparkler display I have ever seen!
