Tim pulled off the most spectacular Washington DC proposal on Capitol Hill, and I’m still pinching myself that I got to be their DC proposal photographer! Not only did he come up with an elaborate ruse to fly Gabby from Charlotte, NC to Washington DC for the weekend, but after dropping down to one knee in front of the iconic Capitol Building, he then whisked her away to the Willard InterContinental Hotel (the spot where they first met!). There, she was greeted by the best surprise yet: the smiling, cheering faces of both their families. As a Washington DC proposal photographer, proposals are always some of my favorite moments to capture — the emotion, the surprise, and the joy are unmatched, every single time.
