I first met Judy in 4th grade, so getting to photograph her engagement session over two decades later — at some of the most iconic spots in DC, on the first day of peak bloom — was truly special. 20+ years of friendship made this day even more meaningful. Judy and Chris chose the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial for their engagement session, and we timed their session perfectly with cherry blossom peak bloom. Even better, the magnolias were still in bloom, and we were able to capture a few moments among those soft, creamy petals as well. Between the cherry blossoms and magnolias, the marble of the monument, and their natural connection, the session felt romantic and effortlessly chic.
