Most recently, one of Molly’s 2024 Tidal Basin cherry blossom sessions was featured in the Washington Post, and her work was published in the 2024 winter edition of The Knot, as well as the February 2025 and February 2026 issues of Virginia Living magazine.
As a devoted military wife and maltipoo mom, Molly splits her time between Brambleton, Virginia, the city where she and her family now reside, and Pasadena, California, the city where she grew up. In June 2022, Molly and her husband welcomed the newest member of their family, Molly’s absolute favorite photographic subject, baby Juliet.
Hello and welcome! My name is Molly, and I am a Northern Virginia wedding photographer for those wildly in love. Based in Ashburn, Virginia, I photograph weddings throughout the DMV and East Coast, from elegant celebrations at historic estates in Washington DC to romantic vineyard weddings in Virginia wine country.
As a military spouse, I spent years moving between cities before my husband’s Navy career finally brought us to Northern Virginia. Loudoun County is now where my family and I call home. We love living here, and I feel incredibly lucky to have built my life and photography business in this area.
At the core, I believe in love and romance. In natural light, happy couples, and real, organic moments. I believe in creating art and in collecting fragments of time. But, most importantly, I believe in capturing images that will last a lifetime. I absolutely adore what I do, and hope we get the chance to work together to make some magic.

A Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer Who Loves the Area
There is something so special about getting married in Northern Virginia. I love the mix of rolling hills, historic estates, lush gardens, and beautiful countryside, all within an easy drive of Washington DC. From Leesburg and Middleburg to Alexandria and beyond, there are so many places that make an incredible backdrop for a wedding.
Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings all over Northern Virginia, from colorful celebrations at Stone Tower Winery to elegant summer weddings at River Farm and garden parties at Goodstone Inn. Every venue has its own character, and I love finding the pockets of light, architecture, and little details that make each wedding unique.
I also love capturing engagement sessions and proposals throughout Northern Virginia. Whether we’re exploring a historic garden, wandering through downtown Leesburg, or taking advantage of beautiful evening light in the countryside, I always strive to create images that feel dreamy, romantic, and real.
