Tori and Ryan’s engagement session at Arlington Garden was especially meaningful. When I was in high school, my class helped plant some of the garden’s first plants, when the garden was still just a square block of dirt. I’ve loved watching the garden grow over the years, and returning for an engagement session felt like such a full-circle moment.
Located in Pasadena, Arlington Garden is one of my favorite places for engagement photos in Pasadena. As a Pasadena wedding photographer, I love returning to locations that are not just pretty, but have a story of their own. Arlington Garden has winding paths, mature trees, colorful flowers, and plenty of little corners to explore, making it easy to create a gallery with lots of variety without ever feeling like we’re rushing from one spot to the next. I especially love the way the gardens look in the softer morning and evening light, when the paths and greenery take on an almost dreamy quality.
For Tori and Ryan’s Arlington Garden engagement photos, we wandered through the gardens and took our time with a mix of romantic portraits and more candid moments. The setting gave us plenty of beautiful backdrops, but some of my favorite images were the quieter ones in between — the laughs, the way they looked at each other, and all of the little moments in between.

A Pasadena Engagement Session Close to Home
Pasadena has been my home for as long as I can remember, and I love that my work as a Pasadena wedding photographer allows me to continue capturing couples in a place that means so much to me. From historic architecture and beautiful gardens to the mountains and that unmistakable Southern California light, there are so many wonderful places throughout the city for engagement sessions.
