In June 2022, Molly and her husband welcomed the newest member of their family, Molly’s absolute favorite photographic subject, baby Juliet.

Hello and welcome! My name is Molly, and I am a Maryland wedding photographer for those wildly in love. Based in Northern Virginia, I photograph weddings throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC, from elegant black-tie celebrations in Baltimore and Annapolis to waterfront weddings along the Chesapeake Bay.

From the beginning, Maryland has played an important role in my photography story. My husband attended the United States Naval Academy, and we spent much of the early years of our relationship in Annapolis, so I’ve had over a decade to truly get to know the city and surrounding area. In fact, the very first wedding I ever booked was for a bride in Annapolis. One night in college, my boyfriend (now husband) was out with friends when he spotted someone newly engaged, admired her ring, and enthusiastically told her, “My girlfriend takes the BEST photos!” A few days later, that same girl reached out, and she became my very first bride. Her wedding at Brittland Estates’ Running Fox Farm ultimately set my entire wedding photography career in motion.

At the core, I believe in love and romance. In natural light, happy couples, and real, organic moments. I believe in creating art and in collecting fragments of time. But, most importantly, I believe in capturing images that will last a lifetime. I absolutely adore what I do, and hope we get the chance to work together to make some magic.

A Maryland Wedding Photographer Who Knows the State Inside and Out

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings in Maryland is how much variety there is within the state. You can have a sophisticated city wedding in Baltimore, a charming celebration in historic Annapolis, or an elegant waterfront wedding along the Chesapeake Bay. And then there’s the Eastern Shore, with its quiet roads, historic homes, rolling farmland, and unmistakable sense of place.

Having photographed weddings all over Maryland, I think it's safe to say no two celebrations have looked quite the same. Some weddings are grand and formal, while others are more intimate and relaxed. Some take place surrounded by architecture and history, while others are all about gardens, nature, and the beautiful waterfront. I love that Maryland offers so many different settings, styles, and ways to celebrate.

Do You Have Experience at My Maryland Wedding Venue?

I’ve photographed weddings all throughout Maryland, including at the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Inn at Perry Cabin, the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Herrington on the Bay, Tidewater Inn, Brittland Estates, Oxon Hill Manor, Visitation Hotel, and many more.

If I haven’t photographed a wedding at your specific venue yet, I’ll always make sure to research the property thoroughly before your wedding day so that I know the best locations for portraits and have a plan for making the most of the space.
