Nicole and Will’s Fairmont Hotel wedding in Washington, DC was the perfect culmination of nearly a decade together. Despite taking place on one of the hottest days of the year, their celebration somehow still felt light, joyful, and refreshing — a testament to the thoughtful design, soft color palette, and happiness that surrounded them all day long. They chose the Fairmont’s Colonnade Room for its natural light, openness, and classic architecture, transforming the space with a palette inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year, “Cloud.” Crisp whites were paired with lush emerald green florals and soft pops of blue and yellow, creating a Washington, DC wedding that felt elegant, fresh, and effortless, even in the summer heat.
